the cd:
this cd focuses around phonicoid's late-98 5 cut project "book of dreams" inspired by the wim wenders film "faraway, so close!" and also includes the recent remixes of those 5 tracks.
as a bonus, 2 of phonicoid's older housey tracks have been included, as well as a recent remix of
moby's "ah-ah", an inspirational techno piece from the early 90's.

the cd-rom:
above and beyond the realm of your cd player, phonicoid has made this release an enhanced cd, the cd-rom portion (made to run on pc's running 32 bit operating systems with multisession cdrom drives
(remember, this is from the 90's so it may run a little funny now as
computers are 10x faster))
includes interactive multimedia featuring:
- text translations (with music) for the 5 book of dreams tracks and the 5 remixes
- music and processed video of a very raw, one-take, live-to-tape version of one of the book of dreams tracks, displaying a contrast to the digitalness of the cd
- a section of info and notes accompanied by another older housey track of phonicoid's not on the regular cd
- if you can find them, 4 eastereggs, including an additional older housey
track not on the cd
